Advanced Scuba Diving Courses

Dive Academy Santa Pola are based right in the marina and offer a full range of PADI certified courses. They also offer Discover Diving days and fun scuba days for the young ones. For those who prefer to stay on top of the water, their Snorkel Safari in the protected marine reserve of Tabarca is great fun. In order to undertake the Advanced Scuba Diving course, divers are required to already have successfully completed the PADI Open Water Diver course and 5 adventure dives. Both the adventure and advanced courses are not very theory intense. Students have a number of adventure dives to choose from. The first stage comprises 3 adventure dives where you will gain more scuba diving skills while having a lot of fun. Once successfully completed you will be awarded your PADI Adventure Diver certificate. You then need to complete another 2 adventure dives (Deep Diver and Navigation) to become a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver.

Speciality Scuba Diving Courses

Part of the Advanced Scuba Diving courses are the adventure or speciality dives. Deep Diver and Navigation are essential dives to complete as part of the course. For the other 3 adventure dives, you can choose from a number of other specialities. Some examples include Altitude Diver, Boat Diver, Night Diver, Digital Underwater Photographer, Fish Identification and many more. For the more serious diver that wants to make a career in diving, there are several options. It's best to talk to one of the Dive Academy instructors. They will advise on the speciality courses to choose to best advance yourself towards being a PADI Instructor or the top spot, PADI Divemaster.
