After dinner, maybe a bit of karaoke or live music before calling in a night.

Santa Pola Nightclubs

Santa Pola is by no means boring and those in search of nighttime fun will find it. The town is home to a few British and Irish themed bars. These are a lure for holidaymakers looking for a lively night and a few pints of imported beer. They tend to feature good music, and on occasion, live acts. For a great choice of beers and ales including Guinness, try Saint James Urban Bar. Located on Calle del Muelle, the bar has a vibrant atmosphere and good music, with late closing between 2am – 3.30am. Further down this road towards the marina is Bushmill's. This Irish themed bar is open daily from 9.45am – 2am where you can enjoy the ‘craic' and great music.

As far as nightclubs go, Santa Pola's offerings include Recycled and Anbar Karaoke Disco Pub. These are within a short walk from one another. Recycled is located just behind the marina on Av. Granada. Taking centre stage here is a large bar surrounded by chill out terraces. Don't expect to have much dancing space during peak summer season as it gets packed. Anbar Karaoke Disco Pub is a rather tired establishment that could do with a makeover, but it does have a great beachfront location. Who cares about the decor when you're belting out your favourite tunes on the beach.

Surrounding Nightclubs

Those looking to dance till dawn should head for the nightclubs in nearby Elche. The city's main nightclubs are all located in the Poligono Industrial Estate outside the city centre. This is a common practice in Spain which reduces complaints of noise pollution. Gold Discoteca on Carrer Mallorca is impressive and boasts a superb chill out terrace. Ten 10 takes chill out to the limit with Arabian style tent beds on their terrace. If you fancy practising Latin dancing, head for the super fun Baby'Oh Latin dance hall. For the latest in house music try Picar@ Tech – House Club. A further choice of great, late night nightclubs can be found in Torrevieja and Alicante cities.

Bars in Santa Pola are quite varied but being a seaside town many are located close to the beach. This is handy for families with young children as the parents can enjoy a few drinks and still keep an eye on the young ones.
