Scuba diving courses in Santa Pola can be taken by persons as young as 10 years. Santa Pola is the perfect base to offer a full range of PADI certified scuba diving courses. The town is also the closest point on mainland Spain to Tabarca Island. Discover Scuba Diving
PADI certified diving courses range in price depending on which course you choose. It would be a shame to pay for a course only to find scuba diving is just not for you. This is very seldom but it does happen. Therefore Dive Academy recommend all potential clients start with their Discover Scuba Diving Day. This is not a PADI certified course but rather an introduction to diving. Making use of one of the nearby coves, students start with a mini class. This covers everything you need to know including the equipment used, safety skills, underwater communication and how to move under water. Then it's time for the first dive along a shallow sea wall. Following this is a break for some lunch and a chat about your diving experience before the second dive of the day.
